From starting up to start up

Here’s a quick but significant Project Neo update – this is on the verge of moving from starting up to a startup!

sunriseThe game changer? Looks like I’ve found a dev partner so we can start building this baby. Woohoo! At long ….  last. Sigh.

It’s still early days but we’ve already built a good foundation with a chat on mutual expectations business-wise before even getting into the system dev. Seems we’re on the same page. Now to find out if its the same book!

Thankfully this is someone I know and trust relatively well. These are key things I held out on [had to be someone I could trust], and it’s one of the reasons its taken so long to get to this point. I would also recommend it to anyone else starting out – know what the non-negotiables are and stick to them.

It might take a bit longer, but a little patience never killed anyone. The rewards should be worthwhile… and seems I’ll soon find out.

So yeah, Project Neo is alive! RAWR!

A heck of a lot still to do, but it makes a difference knowing that we’ve taken one big step.

Amusement for the day – I happened across this article: “12 facts about entrepreneurs that will likely surprise you”. What surprised me most of all was that I fitted almost exactly into these typical [?] characteristics. Go figure! How do you stack up?
